What do I need to get started?

Just a phone, tablet or computer and a browser. Add a thermal printer and barcode scanner whenever you're ready — Folded works with the hardware you already have at the counter.

What happens when there's an issue with an order?

When staff flag a problem — a miscount, a stain, a damaged item — Folded puts the order on hold and sends the customer the details to approve. The workshop is told to carry on only once the customer says yes, so nothing is processed without their go-ahead.

Does it handle tax and invoicing?

Yes. Set your tax rates per service, and Folded raises proper tax invoices with your own shop numbering, plus filable summaries at the end of each period — configured for your region.

How do my customers pay?

Cash, card or digital payment at the counter, or a payment link sent by message. Customers can also pay through the Customer App — and store credit and wallet balances are applied automatically.

Can I run more than one shop from one account?

Yes. Run any number of branches from a single login, with individual and combined analytics, shared customers and pricing, and one-click switching between stores.

Is my data safe, and is it mine?
